Istanbul Airport handled (13-Jun-2023) 1684 aircraft movements on 11-Jun-2023, the highest daily figure ever recorded by a European airport. The result reflected a major increase in traffic due to football fans returning after attending the 2023 Champions League Final in Istanbul.
