About
Air Malta is the national carrier of Malta and is majority owned by the Maltese Government. The airline began operations in 1974 and operates to various destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Air Malta are nearing the end of long, difficult and complex discussions with the European Commission to transition to a new national airline for Malta. Air Malta will continue operations until the new airline takes over.
